Firefighters Rescue Goat from 50-Foot Well, Earn Praise for Heroic Effort
In a heartwarming display of bravery and compassion, firefighters successfully rescued a goat that had fallen into a 50-foot-deep well in a village near Ilayayankudi, located in the Sivagangai district. Their swift and decisive action, captured on video, has garnered widespread praise and admiration on social media platforms.
Shanti, a resident of Sothugudi village, noticed that one of her grazing goats had gone missing and later discovered it trapped inside the dilapidated well in her field. Without hesitation, she contacted the Ilayankudi fire police station for assistance.
Upon receiving the call, firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and assessed the situation. Recognizing the urgency of the matter, they quickly devised a plan to rescue the stranded animal.
Using their expertise and specialized equipment, the firefighters lowered a rope into the well and carefully maneuvered to reach the distressed goat. With precision and skill, they managed to secure the goat and hoist it safely out of the well, much to the relief of the onlookers.
