In a dramatic incident, wildlife security personnel were forced to chase down a rampaging hippo in the Tuala area of Kenya on May 23.

The region, nestled within a conservancy, occasionally experiences wild animals breaking out and wandering into nearby villages. When locals alerted wildlife personnel to the loose hippo, chaos ensued as the massive animal charged toward people, damaging nearby motorbikes and plantations in its path.
