Yemen: Yemenis denounce U.S. aggression during massive protest hours after airstrikes
Sanaa, Yemen - May 30, 2024
Storyline:
Tens of thousands of Yemeni people have taken to the streets in capital Sanaa to protest against the U.S. and Israel and show solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The demonstration took place hours after U.S. and British warplanes launched six airstrikes on the Houthi-held city on May 30, hitting a wide range of structures.
Al-Masirah TV said the three air strikes hit the mountain of al-Nahdayn in the center of the city, one struck near Sanaa airport in the northern part of the city, and two additional strikes hit the area of Jarban in the district of Sanhan in the far southern part of Sanaa.
The U.S.-British coalition warplanes also conducted several air strikes on the Houthi-held Red Sea port city of Hodeidah.
