this video shows air seaplanes at dock in Vancouver after one crashed and sank.

Details remain unclear about how a Harbour Air seaplane crashed into a small boat in Vancouver Harbour.

The collision, which occurred between Vancouver's downtown seaplane terminal and Stanley Park in the Burrard Inlet's Coal Harbour, resulted in the plane sinking to the bottom.

Amidst the busy harbour, filled with cargo ships, passenger ferries, and even several cruise ships, the situation could have been much worse.

Fortunately, nearby small boats swiftly responded, rescuing passengers from the plane before it sank.

Several passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment.

One of the area’s transit systems, the "Sea Bus" (a small passenger ferry seen in several of the videos), was also ready to deploy life rafts, though quick action from other boaters made this unnecessary.

An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
