Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico - February 14, 2024

Civil marriages represent an economic expense because, at least in Mexico City, you must pay 906 pesos if you want to get married in a Civil Registry office, while in an alternative venue you would spend 1,820 pesos. To help your economy, the city government, in April, organised a collective wedding day 2024.

According to the CDMX government, the purpose of the collective weddings is to facilitate the right to marry for the couples who participate and to regularise their civil status free of charge.
