On June 10, a distress call reporting a stranded sea turtle south of Marineland set off a swift and heartwarming rescue operation. The magnificent creature, ensnared among the coquina rocks along the sand dunes, found itself unable to navigate its way back to the safety of the ocean.

Promptly responding to the call, the turtle patrol arrived on the scene, collaborating with local authorities to devise a plan of action. After careful deliberation, it was determined that the best course of action was to release the turtle back into the water.

With the assistance of FCSO Deputy Prather and the Flagler County Fire Rescue team, the operation commenced. Together, they skillfully dislodged the sea turtle from its rocky confinement, ensuring its safety throughout the delicate process.

As the sun began to rise, the rescued sea turtle was gently relocated into the surf, where it eagerly embraced its newfound freedom. With a graceful stroke, the turtle disappeared into the horizon, symbolizing a triumphant return to its natural habitat.
