SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): CHEN HSIAO TING, Taiwanese living in Fuzhou
"I have always felt that Fuzhou is a very good place for start-ups. For example, when young people from Taiwan start their own businesses here, they will enjoy a lot of supportive policies, such as one-off start-up subsidies and so on. They will also receive guidance in employment and entrepreneurship. Many free consultation windows offer help and advice. I majored in marketing and advertising design in college. What I have always wanted to do is something related to culture, tourism and cultural creation. So in 2021 when self-media thrived, we opened our own account called 'one person and one dog touring Fuzhou'."
SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): CHEN HSIAO TING, Taiwanese living in Fuzhou
"We hope to make lively and interesting short videos to introduce intangible cultural heritage (in Fuzhou), and let more people pay attention to it, to see how the heritage can be effectively preserved and passed on."
Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Fuzhou, China.
