The ASTRA 1P/SES-24 satellite, a wide-beam satellite built on Thales Alenia Space's Spacebus NEO platform, aims to enhance SES's satellite TV broadcasting capabilities across Germany, France, and Spain.
SES 24 will play a crucial role in maintaining SES's prime TV neighborhood, supporting both public and private broadcasters by enabling high-quality satellite TV channels efficiently. The satellite utilizes full electric propulsion, a feature of the Spacebus NEO platform known for its reliability in orbit.
