USA: Apartment Fire in Harvard Heights

An apartment unit burned Thursday morning at 1935 S La Salle Ave. Flames extended into a second apartment unit on the 3rd floor. LAFD arrived and achieved a quick knockdown on the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Initial reports of two persons trapped are currently unfounded at this time. All residents evacuated the building and there are currently no injuries reported at this time.
