Mobile repair shop staff were attacked by thugs over alleged unpaid bills in India.

Footage shows the gangsters attacking the employees who were trying to make them pay their outstanding bill at the store in the Ameerpet neighbourhood of Hyderabad, Telangana, on July 1.

Two staff members, Shasikumar and Mukesh Kumar, were injured when they were reportedly assaulted by the thugs with screwdrivers.

Shop equipment was also damaged during the altercation.

Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police said seven people were arrested, including the alleged instigator Akhil, 26, who owed the shop owner, Nikesh Kumar, payment for two phone displays.

The officers have filed a complaint against Akhil and his six friends under Section 118(1), 324(4), 351(3), and Section 190 of the BNS Act.
