A group of children playing cricket fled as a monkey attacked a boy in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on July 8.

CCTV footage shows the leaf monkey pursuing a boy before knocking him to the ground.

The local forest department was called and the primate was relocated.

This Dramatic cctv footage is from Ahmedabad’s Sridhar society in Gujrat . In the footage it can be seen that some children are playing cricket in their society , after some time a leaf monkey can be seen there . The kids playing their tried to escape but the monkey chased one of the kid and attacked on him , the kis anyhow managed to run away from there .
According to local residents they called forest department team which after 3-4 hours efforts rescued the monkey . The incident happened on 7th of July
