A man smashed a glass door chasing a prankster driving off in his gas-filled vehicle in southern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Yiyang City in Hunan Province on July 5.

A man was delivering gas cylinders to a barber shop when a person hopped into his parked vehicle, unaware it contained gas canisters, and drove off.

Startled, the man inside the shop feared an accident and dashed out, inadvertently smashing through the glass door.

According to the shop's owner, the man escaped unharmed, and the costs of the broken glass are to be covered by the prankster after negotiations.
