STORYLINE:
The Chinese Embassy in Botswana held a reception Wednesday welcoming the 17th Chinese medical team.
Officials from Botswana's Ministry of Health and Wellness, as well as representatives of Botswanan hospitals, attended the reception.
The 17th medical team arrived in Gaborone on July 5. Sent by the Fujian provincial health commission, the team consists of 40 medical and six administrative staff members.
The team will spend two years providing services at Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone and at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown.

"As the country of Botswana, we have greatly benefited from this cooperation, from medical personnel support to medical equipment and capacity building.
