Taking a cruise to China is now easier than ever, thanks to the visa-free policy for many international tourists.
A Bulgarian family finished with entry procedures just five minutes after deboarding the "Mediterranea" cruise ship at the Tianjin Dongjiang border inspection station.

In May, China rolled out a visa-free entry policy for foreign tourist groups arriving on cruise ships in some Chinese cities. This policy has aided in the steady recovery of China's cruise economy.
Since the full resumption of international cruise ship transport in Tianjin on Sept. 27, 2023, the Tianjin Dongjiang border inspection station has handled over 380,000 entries and exits of cruise passengers, and nearly 170 cruise ship visits.
