According to the man, the flood water rose two meters high, causing his house to be flooded and the area to be completely isolated. To escape the flooded area quickly, the man made a raft from wooden sticks and plastic bottles. He rescued his goat and rowed his made raft and rescued another man in the middle of the flood water.
Continuous heavy rains have severely affected the northern region of Vietnam. Many areas have been isolated and landslides have occurred. There have been 10 deaths and dozens of injuries. Thousands of houses have been flooded and affected.
Relief and rescue work is underway.
