This is the emotional moment two brothers were reunited after spending 28 years apart in China.

Footage shows brothers Lu Xuexun and Lu Xuecan hugging as they finally met in Fujian province, following almost three decades of separation

Relatives and onlookers were seen crying tears of joy at the heartwarming reunion.

In 1996, Lu Xuexun, then 14, was reportedly separated from his younger brother, Lu Xuecan, then 7, when they were abducted by human traffickers during an outing in Huangshan city in Anhui province back in 1996.

Lu Xuexun managed to escape, but was forced to leave behind his younger sibling behind.

This year, a local charity organization, 'Baby Come Home', helped the brothers reunite, following a tip from villagers that Lu Xuecan was now going by the name 'Wang Jingqin' and living in a village in Fujian.
