A touching video shows a young girl thoughtfully covering her dad's belly with a napkin.

Footage shows the toddler named Duo Mi playing with her building blocks on the bed while both of her parents were asleep at home in Guangzhou, Guangdong in southern China.

After she noticed that her mother was sleeping without a blanket, she carefully took her father's and carefully put it over her mom.

The toddler then took a small napkin and placed it on her father's bare belly in an attempt to cover it.

She then carried on playing with her toys after making sure that her parents were covered and warm while sleeping

The family said the act of kindness which this girl displayed stems from the cultural belief among the Chinese that the stomach should not be exposed to the cold.
