CyclingMikey's Twitter erupted after he posted a clip showing him confront a motorist for drinking what looked like a bottle of beer at the wheel. However, the driver claimed it was a non-alcoholic beverage.

"I hope that's not an alcoholic beer," Mike is heard saying as he pulls alongside the vehicle.

The motorist then tells him its "halal". The bottle appears to be a Barbican malt beverage, a non-alcoholic drink.

"I was a bit sceptical seeing a driver drinking what looked like a beer. He convinced me immediately that it was non-alcoholic," Mike wrote on X.

One angry user replied: "Who gives a f*** who you believe now get out of the middle of the road you rat."

"Wonder why you don't cycle round SA accosting random people on the street. The world doesn't owe you a single f***ing thing you self righteous cretin," said another.

"Non alcoholic or not it's a great way to attract police attention and get pulled over," one user replied.

CyclingMikey was riding along and saw a driver drinking what looked like a beer, and asked him. The driver showed it was a Barbican malted drink, common in the middle east, and thus halal and non-alcoholic. This caused a huge storm on twitter, with many angry twitter users appearing to defend drinking and driving.
