USA: Child Rushed To Hospital By Helicopter Following Reported Drowning
Los Angeles, United States - August 30, 2024
08/30/2024 11:02 am (GMT-0700) | STEVENSON RANCH, Calif. – A child was rushed by air to a trauma center following reports of a drowning at a Stevenson Ranch residence.
The incident was first reported to 911 operators as a baby not breathing and unresponsive after being found in a swimming pool shortly before 10:30 a.m.
Sheriff's deputies, fire department and EMT crews responded to a home on Magnolia Lane. After a few moments, it was determined the child would be transported by helicopter to a specialty pediatric hospital.
The helicopter was summoned to land at Helispot 124B at the western terminus of Poe Parkway.
The child was flown to a hospital in unknown condition.
The incident is under investigation by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station at this time.
