Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat emphasized the rapid growth of global e-commerce, noting it reached 5.8 trillion U.S. dollars in 2023 and is expected to grow to 6.3 trillion dollars by the end of this year.
Türkiye, he said, has seen significant growth in its e-exports, with a 131-percent increase last year and a 94-percent increase in the first eight months of this year.
The summit aims to connect exporters with international marketplaces, fostering new partnerships and exploring emerging opportunities.
A delegation of 100 buyers from global platforms, including Amazon, Tmall, JD CENTRAL, and SHEIN, is expected to participate in a series of bilateral business meetings.
