This is the impressive moment a performer holding fire pots flew on a water jet pack.

The stuntman wowed the audience with his astonishing performance in Guangxi, China, on September 21.

Footage captured by Ms Lv shows the performer wearing traditional Chinese attire and holding a bar with two iron mesh attached on each side.

He is seen aboard the water jet while shaking the metal pole, creating sparks of embers. He smoothly manoeuvred his body below the water's surface and rose up with huge flares surrounding him, manipulating the fire.

The fire pot performance is called Huohu and it originated in Hunan province. The performance has been part of the national intangible cultural heritage for more than 150 years,
