Florida experienced a fuel shortage following Hurricane Milton, leading to long queues at filling stations.

Footage from the Kay Road entrance to Tom Bennett Park before 7 am on October 13 shows a line of vehicles, highlighting the scale of the crisis on its second day at the emergency station. The site, operating from 7 am to 7 pm, enforces a 10-gallon limit per car.

Hurricane Milton slammed into Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3 storm on October 9.

It killed at least 23 people in Florida and knocked out power to millions in the state.

Milton struck as residents were still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Helene just two weeks earlier.
