This is the incredible moment a paraglider spots a dog on top of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Footage captured by Alex Lang shows him noticing the pooch wandering along the highest point of the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World.

He zoomed in on the animal as he approached the landmark. The dog can be seen beaming at it in Egypt on October 14.

Local media reported that the paramotorist saw the canine barking at birds. It is not know how or when the dog managed to climb back down again.

The Great Pyramid of Giza, a 455ft structure, is one of the most iconic monuments of ancient Egypt, built over 4,000 years ago during the Fourth Dynasty. Originally constructed as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, it is the largest of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau and was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
