A fuel truck crashed into a China Airlines plane that was parked at an airport in Taiwan.

The Boeing 737 was preparing for departure from Taoyuan Airport in Taipei to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, when the accident happed on Wednesday, October 16.

Footage shows how the roof of the vehicle damaged the rear of a faring on the right wing. It then reversed away, leaving a large hole in the part.

Airport officials said that ground staff followed standard procedures to handle and inspect the damage. A replacement plane carried the passengers to their destination.

State-owned flag carrier China Airlines said it will pursue the operator of the fuel truck, CPC Corporation, for damages.
