This is the moment police seized 420kg of South American cocaine in Malaga, Spain.

Footage shows the Spanish National Police thwarting a significant drug trafficking attempt, seizing cocaine hydrochloride with an estimated street value of 40 million USD on October 17.

The dramatic arrest occurred when law enforcement observed two individuals manipulating the truck's interior and loading boxes into what appeared to be a standard cargo space.

Authorities said that the seizure took place in an industrial park, where officers found the narcotics hidden within a false floor compartment of a truck trailer.

The drugs were allegedly packaged in vacuum-sealed containers, each with quality seals.

Police also confiscated the truck, a GPS device, and a mobile phone, all believed to be connected to the drug trafficking operation.

In another incident, 211 kilograms of cocaine hidden within commercial fruit containers were seized in Spain on August 21.

Officials said the cocaine, originating from South America, was initially delivered to the port of Setubal in Portugal. From there, the drugs were intended to be distributed across Spain via road transport.

The arrests included those involved in the physical transport as well as the presumed final recipient of the drugs, indicating a broad sweep aimed at disrupting the entire supply chain.
