Student attending birthday party falls to death while chasing puppy on balcony
A student attending a birthday party fell to his death while chasing a puppy on a balcony in India.
Uday Kumar, 22, was celebrating a friend's birthday on the third floor of the VV Pride Hotel when he spotted the dog in Hyderabad on October 21.
Authorities said he was playfully chasing the pooch when he collided with a glass pane on the wall and fell.
Despite being rushed to a nearby private hospital, Uday Kumar succumbed to his injuries.
His father, Gayapu Subbarao, filed a complaint with the police, leading to the opening of a case and an ongoing investigation into the incident.
Originally from Andhra Pradesh, Uday Kiran's family moved to Hyderabad to seek better employment opportunities.
