Rescuers save motorcycle rider who plunged off cliff
Rescuers carried a motorcycle rider who plunged off a cliff in the Philippines.
Footage shows the emergency responders carrying a stretcher to lift the motorist, later identified as Benjie Acruz, 23, in Cebu, the Philippines, on November 1.
Authorities arrived at the area when passersby on the mountain road spotted the unconscious Benjie and his vehicle below.
The rescue team had to climb down the steep slope to access the area before they could rush him to the hospital.
Witness Jessie Abarquez said: 'I was trying to take a picture of the beautiful mountains in the sunset and then saw there was a man. I was so shocked.'
