A tourist regretted trying out this cycling zipline and started crying midway through.

Gemma Magabo said she liked extreme rides and signed up for the rope bike activity to pedal over mountains in Sapa, Vietnam, on October 20.

However, Gemma was overwhelmed as she wheeled across the cable suspended 7,217 ft (2,200 metres) above sea level. Her fear of heights soon consumed her and her emotions became too much to handle.

Footage shows the holidaymaker weeping while she slowly cycled along the zipline. She held the handlebars tightly while looking at the view as she continued to sob.

She said: 'I stayed cool at first but when I reached the middle part my legs trembled. It was so high. I had no other choice to pedal forward. I am still glad that I did it.'

Cycling ziplines are adventure attractions where riders pedal bicycles suspended on cables above the ground, often across scenic locations. The bikes are mounted to a zipline-like track with safety harnesses, allowing riders to pedal along elevated paths.
