This is the adrenaline-pumping moment a tourist hurtled through trees on an epic high-speed zipline.

German holidaymaker Nick Kempel and his friend rode the 1,312 ft (400 m) long cableway at the Tree Bridge Zipline in Surat Thani, Thailand.

Footage shows Nick, wearing a helmet and secured in a harness, leaping from the wooden platform just before his friend on June 23.

Beneath them, lush and towering trees stretch across the landscape as they soared 262 ft (80 m) above the ground.

Park staff were on hand to assist them as they reached the end of the zipline deck.

Nick said: 'I almost forgot that this is the whole point of life.'

The Tree Bridge Zipline is located near the Tan Rua Waterfall in Koh Samui.

The forest is home to the Tree Bridge Cafe, which sits 66 ft (20 m) above the ground and is accessible via a suspension bridge. Nearby, the Tan Rua Waterfall, known as the 'Secret Falls', features cascading waters and natural pools.
