Skilled chef breaks egg on spatula and draws heart with the whites
This is the impressive moment a skilled chef cracked an egg on a spatula and drew a heart with the whites.
The talented teppanyaki chef entertained diners with his artistry and culinary skills by shaping the symbol and writing the word 'Love' with the egg white in Manila, the Philippines.
Footage shows the cook expertly bouncing the egg on the spatula before throwing it in the air. He then spun the utensil 45 degrees to the egg then landed on the sharp side and cracked open.
The restaurant pro then skillfully guided the dripping whites to form a heart shape, finishing with the four-letter-word as a signature in the centre.
Bryan Altair said: 'It was a cool egg trick, and it was really entertaining to watch. I wouldn't want to try that at home in my own kitchen - it could get messy.'
Teppanyaki is a Japanese grilling style known for combining cooking and entertainment.
Teppanyaki chefs are celebrated for their showmanship, performing tricks like juggling utensils, flipping food, and creating dramatic flaming onion volcanoes.
