Valencia, Spain - November 21, 2024 Football returns to Mestalla this coming Saturday at 2pm against Real Betis. Valencia CF will pay tribute to the victims, neighbours, volunteers and emergency services who have been and continue to help in the areas affected by the Dana. The Valencian team, which has already announced several solidarity initiatives over the last few weeks, is preparing an event to match the circumstances. As Nostresport has been able to confirm, Valencia CF will display the giant Senyera that Real Madrid has loaned in the run-up to the match. The flag will be displayed on the Mestalla pitch, as was done in the Ciutat de València, and will be carried by season ticket holders who have been volunteering at the Valencian stadium next to the Food Bank. As expected, Valencia CF will observe a respectful minute of silence before the start of the match and the regional anthem of the Valencian Community will be played with dolçaina and tabalet. In addition, the club is preparing a tifo to fill the stands of Mestalla with colour and respect for the victims and those affected.
