This is the dramatic moment a shopkeeper fell from a ladder while trying to fix a speaker.

The man was removing the device mounted on the wall when he almost fell to the ground in Guizhou, China, on October 31.

CCTV footage shows three female workers supporting the stepladder. As the audio system was being lowered, the women struggled due to its weight.

One of them moved her foot, destabilising the ladder and causing everyone to lose balance and fall onto the platform. The shopkeeper clung to the wall as the ladder gave way.

They quickly managed to stabilise the ladder and used another stepladder to help the man climb down.

Despite the incident, they were seen laughing at what happened.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
