Playful walrus sprays water at zoo visitors
A playful walrus had a unique way of 'greeting' zoo visitors by spraying water on them.
Footage shows the large marine mammal sipping water from the pool and spitting it out towards the woman watching them at Bangkok Safari World in Thailand.
The sea creature squeezed its face between metal railings, curiously looking at the guests and grunting at them.
It was joined by a second walrus that made similar noises before both swam back into the pool.
Tourist Suthinee Suthipeasert said: 'The walrus greeted us by spraying us with water. They had a strange way of being friendly.'
A walrus is a large marine mammal known for its distinctive long tusks, whiskers, and bulk. In groups, walruses often splash water when jostling for space or asserting dominance, especially males during mating season.
