Passengers were seen crammed into the trunk of a bus in India.

Uncomfortable footage shows young people packed inside the bus luggage compartment, with the door open on November 19.

Reports indicated that around 5,000 individuals travelled from Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, to Pithoragarh for Territorial Army recruitment on Tuesday. Due to a shortage of buses, some youths resorted to traveling in the vehicle's cargo hold.

For several days, youths from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh were travelling en masse through Tanakpur to participate in the army recruitment process.

Under the Territorial Army recruitment process, candidates who pass the physical and medical exams will be eligible to take a written examination.

The recruitment rally, which started on November 12, was held at three locations - Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand), Sagar (Madhya Pradesh), and Danapur (Bihar), and will conclude on November 27.
