This is the creepy moment a huge python was found stretching its long neck on the top of a telegraph pole.

The 14ft snake slithered up the concrete post in the dead of night in Tarlac province, the Philippines.

Shocked locals watched as the reptile appeared to be performing a nighttime dance, twisting and turning as if reaching for the moon.

Onlooker Chelsie Cabigting said: 'We had been working at the farm that day and were just relaxing at night, chatting. Then we so a snake, actually there were three snakes, so we panicked and ran.

'We called over some other residents and they helped us to locate the snakes. One was on top of the telegraph pole, dancing like a fairy.'

Residents eventually caught the huge python. It was stuffed into a rice sack and taken away to be released into woodland.
