Santa arrives by helicopter to deliver presents to children at DC hospital
This is the heartwarming moment Santa Claus arrived by helicopter to bring presents to children at DC Hospital.
Footage shows the aircraft landing on the rooftop of Children's National Hospital in Washington on December 7, with Santa making his grand entrance to hand out gifts to kids spending the holidays there.
More than 450 members of the District of Columbia National Guard, Maryland National Guard, Virginia National Guard, and other partners participated in the toy run, which was held in partnership with the hospital.
Participants brought toys or purchased new ones, and additional donations were collected during a holiday toy drive at the DC Armory and the Herbert R. Temple Jr Army National Guard Readiness Center.
The toys were later given to the kids at the hospital, ensuring they received a festive surprise.
Santa's arrival by helicopter added an extra touch of magic to the day.
