On February 1st, in a factory located in Lu'an, Anhui Province, Mr. Hu entered a freight elevator with a cart of goods when it suddenly plummeted from the second floor to the ground, a drop of approximately 8.5 meters. The unexpected fall resulted in Mr. Hu sustaining serious injuries, including a comminuted fracture of his left leg and a spinal fracture. After receiving emergency medical treatment, he has been discharged and is now recuperating at home. The factory management has stated that once Mr. Hu recovers, they will coordinate with the elevator manufacturer and other relevant parties to discuss compensation. The cause of the elevator's malfunction is currently under investigation.

经了解，该电梯为厂房货梯，当时从二楼猛然下坠到底层，高度约8.5米。胡先生因电梯下坠而遭受严重伤害，导致左腿粉碎性骨折和腰部骨裂。幸运的是，经过紧急送医治疗，他已出院并在家中疗养。
事发后，厂房负责人表示将在胡先生伤愈后，组织电梯厂家、胡先生等多方进行协商，以解决此次事件的具体赔偿问题。
目前，电梯失控坠落的原因还在调查中。
