Motorcycle riders negotiate bizarre wobbling bridge in the Philippines
Motorcycle riders negotiated a bridge that mysteriously wobbles in the Philippines.
Footage shows the residents on two-wheelers riding along the Biliran Bridge in Leyte province on December 23.
The through-arch-type structure began making wave-like movements due to unknown causes earlier this month.
Baffled local officials have been unable to fix the issue and locals need to use the route to reach a connecting island in the archipelago.
Resident Kier Kerby Tabon Mendoza said: 'We are still allowed to pass through but only one by one.'
The Department of Public Works and Highways later prohibited heavy equipment vehicles from passing through after the unusual swinging.
The cause of the swinging is still under investigation, but the Biliran Bridge connecting Leyte and Biliran provinces was repaired three years ago in 2021.
