China: China First Factory Seawater Hydrogen Production Research Project Completed
Qingdao, China - December 16, 2024 [Note: no sound] China's first factory seawater hydrogen production research project was completed at Sinopec's Qingdao Refinery in Qingdao, Shandong province, China, December 16, 2024. The project adopts the mode of direct hydrogen production from seawater and green hydrogen production, and can produce 20 cubic meters of green hydrogen per hour, which not only explores a new scheme for the consumption of renewable green electricity to produce green hydrogen in coastal areas, but also provides a new path for the utilization of high-salt industrial wastewater.
