Frenzy as school hosts snack-grabbing contest for teachers and students in China
On December 28, to welcome the arrival of 2025, a primary school in Sanya, Hainan, held a unique "Snack-Grabbing Competition."
The rules of the competition required homeroom teachers to transport as many snacks as possible back to their "base" within a set time limit. All the snacks collected would eventually be distributed to their students.
As soon as the host announced the start of the competition, the teachers sprang into action, racing toward the towering pile of snacks. They carried as much as they could in their arms, with some even lying on the ground to grab more snacks. The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and shouts of encouragement.
One teacher, Mr. Chen, stood out with his impressive performance, completing four sprints back and forth in just 30 seconds, securing a large haul of snacks for his students.
Mr. Chen later revealed that he had practiced on the school field beforehand to prepare for the competition and achieve the best possible results.
