Young boy gets trapped in parcel locker, firefighters rush to scene for dramatic rescue
On November 1, in Huainan, Anhui Province, a young boy climbed into a parcel locker whilst playing with his friends.
After he entered, one of his friends accidentally closed the door, trapping him inside.
The boy began to cry loudly in fear and banged on the door in a desperate attempt to call for help.
Because parcel lockers are airtight spaces, the situation was extremely dangerous, posing risks of suffocation and oxygen deprivation.
Fortunately, firefighters quickly arrived after receiving the emergency call. They broke open the locker and successfully rescued the boy.
He was found safe and unharmed after the ordeal.
