Footage filmed by local resident @jilllowe2 shows the worsening situation throughout the day. The first video, captured at 9:00 a.m., depicts cars stuck in rising floodwaters beneath the A555 bridge. By 4:00 p.m., another dramatic scene unfolded as a driver mistakenly entered the flooded dual carriageway, attempting to navigate through the inundated road.
Residents have expressed frustration over the frequent flooding, which has become an annual disruption, raising safety concerns and calling for urgent infrastructure solutions to address the problem.
