Palestine supporters converge on US Embassy in Indonesia
Palestine supporters converged outside U.S. Embassy in Jakart to protest against the ongoing conflict in the region.
Footage shows hundreds of protesters gathered outside the American consulate in Muslim-majority Indonesia with a large banner saying 'Forgive us, Gaza' on January 17.
They gave speeches on the roadside outside the gate, celebrating the cease-fire but also condemning Israel for the conflict.
Israel has blitzed the Gaza Strip in retaliation for an attack by the governing party Hamas on a Jewish music festival On 7 October last year.
However, the situation - which Israel claims is self-defence - has attracted criticism from around the world.
