Los Angeles, United States - January 24, 2025 01/24/2025 10:19 pm (GMT-0800) CENTRAL-ALAMEDA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Newton Division units responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in the 1200 block of East 50th Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to a spokesperson for the LAPD. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the wounded teen to a local hospital. The spokesperson told KNN that the victim's condition is unknown. According to the spokesperson, it's not known at this time if the shooting was gang-related, and the suspect was only described as a non-Hispanic 19-year-old male.
