STORYLINE:

The 6th edition of the Financial Afrik Awards took place from Monday to Tuesday in Abidjan, the economic capital city of Cote d'Ivoire.

This event gathered investors, institution representatives, and promoters from the Arab world and Africa.

Through panels and B2B meetings, participants exchanged ideas on strategic projects aimed at strengthening trade relations and investments between the two regions.

The ceremony was attended by Niale Kaba, Ivorian Minister of Economy, Planning, and Development. Kaba highlighted the significance of this initiative for economic development and interregional cooperation.

"This year's theme, 'Strengthening Strategic Partnerships between the Arab World and Africa,' is of paramount importance for the economic future of our continent.
This edition should serve as a framework to explore ways to attract more foreign direct investment flows into Africa, design long-term strategic approaches, and enhance collaboration between African companies and those from the Arab world. It aims to define the next steps for improving cooperation between African and Arab institutions, facilitating the establishment of contracts that encourage innovation, wealth creation, and development in strategic sectors.
By strengthening this strategic partnership between Africa and the Arab world, we can not only withstand economic shocks but also emerge mutually stronger with a clear will and a balanced partnership framework."

Launched in 2018 in Abidjan, the Financial Afrik Awards are an annual conference bringing together players in finance and the African economy around strategic themes.
