This is the adorable moment a pet pit bull sat still while a toddler painted her nails in bright colours.

The brown canine allowed the little girl to apply teal-coloured nail polish to its claws in their living room in Suphan Buri, Thailand, on August 23.

Footage shows the dog and the child sitting on the floor. The girl can be seen carefully stroking the colour onto the small nails of the patient animal.

She then painted her own nails to match those on her pet dog.

Her grandmother, who was watching the duo, was not spared, as the child also painted her toenails.

Pit bulls can be very family-loving and affectionate dogs when properly trained and socialised. They are known for their loyalty, protective instincts, and strong emotional bonds with their families. Many pit bulls are gentle and patient with children, making them wonderful family pets.
