Cops ordered anti-Trump protesters to disperse amid tensions in downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) declared an unlawful assembly on February 4 as demonstrators gathered outside city hall to oppose the President's crackdown on illegal immigrants.

Footage captured by Alexandra Datig shows dozens of officers on the road, urging activists to leave the area.

The rally, which called for expanded immigration rights, had attracted a large crowd, but authorities deemed the gathering disruptive, prompting the unlawful assembly declaration.

Police warned protesters to vacate the area or risk arrest.

Trump, known for his hardline nationalist and anti-immigrant rhetoric, has promised a sweeping crackdown on undocumented and illegal immigrants in the country.

On his first day of office, he declared a 'national emergency' at the southern border with Mexico.

He has also issued a memo telling the U.S. Agency for International Development to adopt an 'America First' policy, threatening sanctions on staff who refuse to obey.

Dozens of deportation flights have also taken off, sending illegals back to their homeland in handcuffs.
