Marine Corps jet performs live fire exercise over California
A Marine Corps jet performed a live-fire exercise over California.
Marine Attack Squadron 231 pilots conducted the training drill near a Naval Air Facility in El Centro on January 30.
Footage shows aircraft hovering in the air over the mountainous landscape.
The jets can be seen unleashing powerful strikes as part of Service Level Training Exercise 1-25, designed to sharpen combat skills and support Marine ground units in preparation for global missions.
This exercise allows Marines to practice and refine their skills in realistic scenarios, preparing them for various combat situations they might encounter during missions.
Additionally, live-fire training helps to test and improve coordination among different units and evaluate the performance of equipment and tactics under real-world conditions.
