The US and Japanese air forces held a joint warplane exercise off the coast of Kagoshima.

Footage shows aircraft flying in formation, demonstrating their teamwork and coordination during Resolute Dragon 25 on September 12.

The exercise involved US Marine Corps MV-22B Ospreys from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262, Marine Aircraft Group 36, and 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.

They flew alongside V-22 Ospreys from the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force, as well as a US Navy P-8A from Patrol Squadron 9.

Resolute Dragon 25 is an annual exercise in Japan that focuses on improving command, control, and multi-domain manoeuvre skills for both III Marine Expeditionary Force Marines and Japan Self-Defence Force personnel.
