Los Angeles, United States - February 10, 2025 02/10/2025 10:30 pm (GMT-0800) MONTEREY PARK, Calif. – East Los Angeles California Highway Patrol officers were engaged in a pursuit of an older model green Honda Civic. The initial want is still unclear. Officers pursued the suspect north on Atlantic near the 60 Freeway. The driver ran a red light, prompting officers to terminate the pursuit temporarily. A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department airship located the vehicle, and officers resumed the chase. The suspect ultimately pulled into a parking lot near the intersection of Harding and Atlantic Boulevard and refused to exit the vehicle. He told officers he was scared they would hurt him. Eventually, the officers approached and took the suspect into custody without incident. The vehicle was towed, and the suspect was taken to jail. There are no further details at this time.
